Load of Fun is proud to host the Doll Project for its first fundraising event. The Doll Project is a workshop series at the area’s largest and most comprehensive domestic violence program, the House of Ruth Maryland (hruth.org). During weekly doll-making sessions, the Doll Project empowers women staying in the temporary shelter. It fosters strength and creativity while building community. Come to Load of Fun on Saturday April 12th, 6pm-10pm to participate in a knitting circle, learn a new recipe, or win a gift certificate to a local restaurant. Help us begin new conversation by creating communities of support. Eat, drink, learn, and help the Doll Project grow!
